Welcome to The Borehamwood Comedy Club,

right in the heart of Elstree & Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

First launched in November 2017, the Borehamwood Comedy Club, has loved entertaining audiences with its regular comedy shows. Featuring some of the best acts from across the UK and international comedy circuit, the club has become a favourite social night out for hundreds of people in the local and surrounding areas.

Resident MC is local comedian Philip Simon, who has been entertaining audiences around the world for over 2 decades. During lockdown he created the hit children’s comedy show School's Out Comedy Club. He has been seen/heard on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and BBC Radio 4 as part of the BBC New Comedy Award. He has written for Mock the Week, worked on TV shows Taskmaster and The Imitation Game, and is one half of the co-host for comedy podcast Jew Talkin’ To Me?

We are incredibly lucky to have 96 Shenley Road as our venue, where the amazing team work tirelessly to make sure the shows run smoothly. Since September 2025 we have also found a home at The Wellington pub where we have run a few new material nights.
